Cumi Oyemike

Cumi is a Software Engineering student specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the African Leadership University. She is deeply passionate harnessing AI to craft solutions to healthcare and education problems. She is also interested in the ethical implications of AI and its potential to solve complex problems and believes that ensuring the fairness, explainability, and accessibility of AI systems is critical for their successful integration into society. As a result, she is drawn to bias detection and mitigation in AI systems.
