Fadhila Yusuf, Nairobi (Kenya), is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nairobi. A passionate advocate for mental health and a future doctor, Fadhila hopes to harness data science and AI in improving healthcare systems in Kenya. She works as the Head of Finance and Research at Project RESPEKT which aims at ensuring quality sexual and reproductive health education for teenagers in Kenya. She is also the founder of Project TUBONGE which aims at providing psychological first aid to everyone in order to help people help themselves. As an EquiTech Scholar, Fadhila hopes to build data science skills and explore interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of medicine, public health, and data science.
