Jangael Rosales (she/her) is a Posse Foundation Scholar, Wentcher Foundation Scholar, and a recent graduate of Connecticut College, where she majored in Computer Science with double minors in Psychology and American Studies, intersecting her academic interests through her school’s Integrative Pathway program in Data, Information, and Society.
During her time at Connecticut College, Jangael held several leadership positions across various departments, offices, and centers, and was recognized with awards for leadership, service, and dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in every space she occupies and actively learns about.
Last summer, she conducted Human-Computer Interaction and Education Technology research at Carnegie Mellon University’s Human-Computer Interaction Institute as part of their highly selective REU program. Her research team’s work was selected for presentation and publication at the 2025 Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group in Computer Science Education’s Technical Symposium (ACM SIGCSE TS '25) for the ACM Student Research Competition.
As an aspiring First-Generation Filipino American technologist and researcher, Jangael looks forward to continuing her work at the intersection of technology, equity, and education.
