Joy Agrawal

Joy Agrawal is a 17 year old entrepreneur, TEDx speaker, author & changemaker. He is a Diana awardee, the highest honour given to young changemakers for social work. Joy is the founder of Project Gyan, a social enterprise working on inclusive innovation of tribal and grassroot communities working through practical STEM education to drive innovation while using entrepreneurship education to catalyse innovations through commercialisation. Joy is an inventor who has by the tender age of 13 already filed for more than 3 patents. His inventions have been nationally and internationally recognised, earning recognition from Ramon Magsaysay awarded individuals and at events such as the Indian Science Congress. Joy works on bringing catalytic changes through innovative and interdisciplinary initiatives. Under Project Gyan, they organised the first ever Model UN that allows the usage of Artificial Intelligence by delegates making it a revolutionary event attempting to bridge the techno-policy gap. He has authored a book on how space technology can be utilised for sustainable development on Earth. This book was launched by the Union minister of India Mr. Nitin Gadkari. It also received appreciation from former group head of ISRO, former chairman of the Union Public Service Commission and many others.
