Kiara is a high school student from Peru who is extremely into helping others. She has an social project called “Leer Para Crecer Perú” in which she promotes reading and creates suitable learning spaces to improve the literacy skills of girls living in foster homes. Most recently she won an essay contest , which was about the visions of teenagers of future opportunities and threats to humanity in Peru. Knowing that technology and artificial intelligence will be essential in our future, she put all her knowledge from the benefit course she received at Equitech Futures for being a Rise Finalist, where she learned both the technical side of AI, as well as the technical side of creating systems, questioning the privacy, security, and equality that will be essential to our future.
