Alumni

Liya is a high school junior from Kerala, interested in the intersection of computer science and Physics. She volunteers for online STEM magazine, the scientific teen as a writer and podcaster and works towards bringing equality of opportunities through her Podcast, RISE WITH US. The podcast members are all RISE '22 finalists and the idea developed from the capstone project she did for the finalists benefit course, Do Robots Dream of Electric Sheep, at Equitech Futures. Moreover she tutors students at her school and is a member of Instilt Educate, an organisation that provides free English education to underprivileged children. She is working to further extend her capstone project which involved an AI supported internship search engine for students in the future.
