Lotanna Frances Akukwe

Lotanna Akukwe (Poughkeepsie, New York, United States) is a visionary thinker driven by the belief that data is the language for describing human behavior. She graduated with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Political Science, and this multidisciplinary foundation became the catalyst for her transition into civic tech, where she bridges the gap between technical architecture and social strategy. It has her to explore how understanding these behavioral patterns can empower individuals to navigate their worlds and make informed, life-changing decisions.

Deeply committed to building community resilience, Lotanna is an active member of Rethink Citizens Youth Squad, where she leads high-impact workshops on youth perspective, digital harms and safety, and predatory social media design.
