Luke is a dynamic and interdisciplinary scholar studying politics and history at New York University, with a deep curiosity at the intersection of technology, society, and global governance. Currently an upcoming NYU Humanities Fellow and a Presidential Honors Scholar, Luke’s academic pursuits focus on understanding how emerging technologies reshape traditional structures of power, identity, and order. His past research on nation-building in the UAE—investigating how water technologies and environmental narratives were used to rebrand national identity—exemplifies his ability to weave historical inquiry with technological insight. He has presented his work at conferences and continues to explore themes like digital sovereignty, virtual states, and the political consequences of technological disruption.

Beyond academics, Luke is a community builder and multidimensional leader. He serves as the treasurer of Cru NYU, an editor and photographer for the NYU Literary Magazine, a participant in the Stern Business and Law Association Mentorship Program, and an active member of clubs ranging from athletics to improv theatre.

Grounded in a Renaissance approach to life—fueled by his family’s immigrant story from Argentina—Luke thrives in both intellectual and creative spaces, merging academic excellence with artistic expression, community leadership, and cross-cultural exploration.
