Mitchell is a Machine Learning Engineer, a corporate finance executive and an alumnus of Equitech Futures Applied Data Institute. His recent work involves building impactful AI solutions to address real world problems such as financial inclusion, making food affordable and leveraging geospatial data to address climate change.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where he got a first-class honours. He is also a recipient of the Co-operative Bank of Kenya Scholarship and spent the early days of his career doing expert financial modelling and data analysis for growth companies in East Africa. His work spanned Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Real Estate, Oil & Gas.
