Nico Meyering (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States) is a Disabled civic engagement leader. Nico grew up in Oneonta, a small university city in New York, and earned an MPA from Binghamton University. Then he completed national service with nonprofits in California and Texas before settling in Philadelphia. His work blends on-the-ground organizing with data-informed problem solving and strategy.

As Board President of Young Involved Philadelphia, Nico and the team received commendations from local and state officials and helped strengthen leadership pipelines for the city’s nonprofit ecosystem. He has trained over 100 young professionals to become effective nonprofit board members. Earlier, Nico used U.S. Census data to create a disability characteristics map of Philadelphia, supporting more accessible and equitable community planning.

Nico is excited to sharpen his data and AI toolkit to speed disability inclusion and make it easier for organizations to turn commitments into action. When he is not juggling projects and community partnerships, he is usually reading, bouncing between superhero books and contemporary romances.
