Ọghẹnẹmarho Robinson (Warri, Delta State, Nigeria) is a civic educator and political governance literacy advocate with a background in Political Science and Public Administration. His work focuses on helping everyday citizens understand how politics, public policy and governance works and showing them how they can get involve to make it work for them.
He currently works with BudgIT Foundation, a leading civic-tech organization in Nigeria, where he supports transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement at the state level through community outreach, media engagement, and project monitoring. Oghenemarho is also the founder of Government Uncle, a civic education initiative that uses short explainer videos—often in Nigerian Pidgin—to simplify governance and public policy and connect them to people’s daily lives.
With experience as a teacher, project coordinator, and community organizer, he is passionate about leveraging data, technology, and civic innovation to strengthen trust between citizens and government. Through the Civic Tech Institute, he hopes to deepen his capacity to design inclusive, data-driven civic solutions that empower communities and improve democratic participation.
