Riya Shrestha

Riya, who cherishes small moments and finds joy in observing people, comes from Lalitpur, Nepal. She completed her undergraduate in International Business, with a specialization in Finance and Investment. She loves engaging in community activities and entrepreneurial events. She has been a juggler - managing academics and work. Apart from her classes, she was seen tutoring A levels students, managing a baby clothing outlet, conducting events for various institutions, or doing roll calls at AIESEC (though these works spanned over various time intervals). While her academic background and skills may not scream “technology”, her internship experiences at She Loves Tech and NYEF Startup Awards, where she witnessed simple yet impactful technology revolutions, left her yearning for more. Her passion for tech led her to her current role at the Nepal Association for Software and I.T. Services Companies (NAS-IT), where she continues to explore the world of technology and its potentials to drive positive change.
