Sunday Nwovu

Born and raised in Ebonyi State and currently residing in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Sunday Nwovu is a dynamic professional working at the confluence of data science and web development. Having graduated with honors from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with a B.Sc. in Computer Science/Statistics, Sunday is celebrated for leading impactful projects, from developing a transfer learning method for tomato disease detection to pioneering a credit risk system and deploying a sentiment analyzer bot on Twitter.

His diverse journey spans roles like Python Developer at Multiset Tech Ltd and Data Scientist at HUMEXID LIMITED, with his current role at Zarttech in The Hague, South Holland, focusing on fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and deploying advanced machine learning solutions.

Through the Applied Data Institute, Sunday gained expertise in statistical reasoning, machine learning best practices, and entrepreneurial thinking. His pivotal capstone project integrated data analysis, NLP, LLM, and knowledge representation.

Sunday is driven by a passion to make a substantial impact in artificial intelligence and machine learning, leveraging his skills to innovate and address societal challenges, especially in Health (building Artificial Cognitive Systems).
