Thandeka is a student from Eswatini. Growing up, her parents tried to give her the best education, which motivated her to work hard in school, and she received awards for being one of the top students in her class almost all the time. She was amongst the top 5 students in her grade 10 national exams. In May 2022, she received a 100% scholarship to study at her dream school, UWC. Her biggest takeaways from the Equitech Futures program was that anything is possible as long as you commit to it and work with other people in incubating and turning it into reality. Together we can make it. I hope that one day I'll be able to train models, and help poor disabled people access prosthetics cheaper. I also wish to make impact in education and pharmaceutical sectors.
