Tony Wang is a senior at Amador Valley High School in the United States. He completed the Rise Finalist Benefit Course with Equitech Futures in the summer of 2022, where he developed an artificial intelligence algorithm to detect illegal brick kilns in Southeast Asia. Through Equitech Futures, Tony was able to explore AI ethics and discuss sustainable and responsible algorithms. Tony has been honored as a Coca-Cola Scholarship Semifinalist, a Rise Global Winner, and a Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) Finalist. At school, Tony leads the National Honor Society, Speech and Debate Club, Cybersecurity/CS Club, Biology Club, and Physics Club. Tony hopes to pursue an impactful career in technology and work on implementing responsible AI systems in society.
