Labbi is a data scientist and research fellow with a strong background in design and technology.
Currently, she works as a Research Fellow, where she assists in teaching Data for Impact Labs and Data and Decision Labs. In this role, she supports participants and collaborates with stakeholders to drive impactful, data-driven projects.

Previously, Labbi led several significant initiatives at CloudFactory. She spearheaded the analysis for identity fraud detection using anomaly detection, clustering, and classification techniques. She also developed supervised learning models, such as XGBoost, to predict future worker performance based on current experiences.

Outside of her professional roles, Labbi is the driving force behind Panchi, a Sujata Baskota Changemaker Award-winning project focused on providing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) awareness in Achham and Doti. She co-founded Digital Kalal, a digital awareness project in the Dang and Lumbini regions of Nepal, benefiting over 300 individuals. She serves as an executive member of ASMAN, is a general member of Women LEAD Nepal, volunteers at Code for Nepal, and is a proud alumnus of Equitech Futures.

Earlier in her career, Labbi contributed her data analysis and design skills at Xabit, a startup where she worked on apps and dashboards for Himalayan Java. She began her journey as a graphic designer, contributing to various projects for different clients.

Academically, Labbi demonstrated strong performance, securing a position in the top 3% among 762 students in her BSc in Computing. Her achievements include winning the Best Final Year Project Award.

In addition to her academic and professional successes, Labbi is deeply committed to empowering women in education and technology.
